In November 2023's Customer Success Executive Forum, some CS leaders noted a drop in customer email reachability—and a corresponding shift to private communities to keep in touch with customers instead.
On a subsequent poll we ran on LinkedIn, we asked our community what they're noticing about customer email reachability and the effectiveness of customer communities to keep in touch instead. Sixty percent of poll respondents said "thumbs down to email but thumbs up to communities," while 40 percent gave email reachability a shrug and said they hadn't tried implementing communities yet.
